Heath North

The Heath North  Prospect

Controls may be different from those operating at Heath South

Summary and Location

Copper mineralization at the Heath North prospect is associated with discrete mafic-ultramafic intrusions within weakly to moderately altered diorite.

The extent and volume of copper mineralization associated with these intrusions is unknown as outcrop exposure in the area is sparse. The copper mineralization is associated with a very large soil geochemical anomaly.

The Heath North Prospect lies immediately north of the Heath South Prospect.

High Cu Levels in rock samples

High levels of copper in outcrop were reported by Kiska Metals in the Heath North area both in 2011 and on repeat sampling in 2014.

In 2017 a soil sampling program on the Heath North prospect confirmed and extended laterally up-slope by 100 to 200 meters the 500 meter-long copper anomaly recorded on the property by Kiska Minerals in 2011.

Recommended Work

With a view to defining a drill target at Heath North the following two surveys are recommended:

(1) Further soil geochemical sampling should be carried out north of the anomaly discussed above;
(2) An IP survey should be conducted over and around the anomaly discussed above.
